Toby Stool in Larch
Is it a footstool? Is it a mini seat? Better than that, it's both! It's just the right height to put your feet up when used with our Toby Chairs but also, a perfectly comfortable perch in its own right for those with medium to small bottoms. In our garden, they serve as footstools most of the time and then when the nieces and nephews descend, they have their own special seats.
This stool is made from Larch, which is a tough and hard member of the pine family, meaning it is a superb wood for exterior furniture. It's a great, completely sustainable timber coming from properly managed forests in Europe.
The Original Chair shown in the main picture is sold separately.
Caring for Larch
We choose Northern European Larch for extra durability and protection from the elements. Our Larch pieces are completely untreated and are designed to stay that way; the resins present in the wood provide a completely natural protection from the elements. It's a very hardy wood which ages well outside but do bring them in over winter if you want them to last that much longer. As it ages the wood will honey to a rich colour and eventually, after a year or so fade to a beautiful Scandi silver.
All our prices include shipping to mainland UK. If you're making an enquiry from elsewhere, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We make our pieces to order, so please allow three weeks for delivery. We'll keep you updated with the order as it progresses.
